What is the We Care and Friends Organization?We Care and Friends is an organization that offers assistance to the homeless and those in need. The organization also services those who are without resources in the Annapolis communities.Who founded We Care and Friends and when?We Care and Friends was founded in 1992 by Larry Griffin who is also the organization's President. He has resided in the city of Annapolis for approximately 45 years. He is well known for his community support and accomplishments. He has been addressing the needs of the communities for over 5 years. His main goal is getting the Annapolis communities involved in positive activities, along with increasing their resource awareness which he feels in-turn will build a strong and continuous family structure.What are some of We Care and Friend's Success Stories?We Care and Friends celebrated their 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner which fed 2,200 people and held their 1st Christmas Toy Drive, supplying over 1000 toy bags for 500 needy families.What Types of Services Does We Care and Friends Provide and To Whom?We offer such services as collect and distribute clothing, supply food baskets and sponsors dinners for the underprivileged. We provide services to the Annapolis surrounding communities, including churches, organizations such as the Light House Shelter, The Helping Hand, the Annapolis Partnership, Department of Social Services and other groups in need. Who Pays for Services?Services are strictly done on a volunteer basis.
